Meet Mrs. Dunn
I started baking in college. Actually, I started with an easy bake oven when I was 7 years old but those hockey-puck cakes don’t count! I have always enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family. The science behind baking has always been very interesting to me. Ingredients and how they come together really matter and can make all the difference in terms of taste and texture. And while I love to bake a variety of goodies, I have found that my cinnamon rolls are a crowd pleaser. Food is love for me and it has been the way I show my love and support. During the pandemic I baked to raise money for charity and the response motivated me to turn my passion into a business. My focus is simple. It is all about sharing sweet comfort food in the form of the classic cinnamon roll.
It was only a couple of years ago that I learned my great grandfather, Mattheus Winkelman (seated) was a baker. He had a fancy bakery in Rotterdam, Holland in the 1920s.
